This year's blood drive is different because of the pandemic, so we're offering free pick ups and drop offs for donors AND we've introduced an appointment system , call 07066624231 to make an appointment!
“As it is now, less that one per cent of the population is donating blood. The blood banks have to rely on commercial blood donors and unsafe blood donors to meet up with demand. So we need five percent of Nigerians to commit to regular blood donation, and then the hospital blood banks will always be ready for response to emergencies and complications”

Regular blood donation can help prevent cardiovascular disease
Get plenty of sleep the night before you plan to donate.
Eat a healthy meal before your donation.
It is also not advisable to consume alcohol at least 24 hours before donating blood.
You cannot donate if you’re pregnant/breastfeeding.
If you have sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS or any STIs, you cannot donate blood.
Rotary Club of Abuja Federal was chartered on 28th of October 2015 under District 9125, Abuja Nigeria with the aim to fulfill the vision of Rotary International.
RC Abuja Federal is comprised of young professionals who are passionate about making a difference in society. At the start of this club, RC Abuja Federal had 20 members and has consistently been on increase since the inception of the club. In fulfilling its commitment to empower youths and develop communities, RC Abuja Federal adopted the Piwoyi community at airport road Abuja Nigeria, sponsored the Rotaract Club of Abuja Federal and RC Abuja Federal Rotary Community Corp. RC Abuja Federal in its capacity has been able to execute more than 30 projects that cut across all the six (6) Rotary’s areas of focus including community development, youth empowerment, health and education. The successful execution and the positive impact of the above projects made RC Abuja Federal win various awards, just to mention a few: • D9125 Best Project in Disease Prevention and Treatment 2018-19 • RI Presidential Citation (Gold) 2017-18 • RI Presidential Citation (Gold) 2016-17 • RI Presidential Citation (Gold) 2015-16 • RI Significant Achievement Award 2015-16.
